Husky Liners get it right (and not in the first decade)

I first saw a Husky Liners product ten years ago. I used to resell dash trim kits for various vehicles as a side business and at one point I came across a batch of 10 molded Husky Liners dash trim kits for Chevrolet and GMC vans [Astro, Safari, Express and other models]. The parts of the kits were made to precisely match the shape of these cars' dashboards – those surrounding the dashboard as well as more complex shapes, like the parts surrounding the dual cup holders on the center consoles. These are 3D shapes, more complex than a car floor with cutouts for each seat. If someone claims that the folks at HL misjudged the Camry's gender, then those folks are full of it, like that liar grandpa who claimed he was got out of hand, the Prius nearly propelled him to the sky amid the 2009 Toyota Accelerator scandal. Grandpa I think got several jail terms for lying about his Prius not stopping (while putting it on cruise control hoping to make some money :) Of course the floor mats are perfect for my 2016 Camry Hybrid LE of the Year. I like that the driver's floor panel covers the trunk and gas cap opening controls. Why would dirt accumulate there? Have you ever tried vacuuming out the little shaft under that lever? The vacuum cleaner doesn't help and you have to wipe the area. Why not just lift the liner cover that covers the levers and pull the lever? I love that Husky Liners make all of their stuff in the USA. It should be so. WeatherTech also makes their floor mats in the US, but they charge a good 20% more for you to read their same boring, old, unimaginable 10-page ad in auto magazines and wherever you want to put them. Imagine an attractive WeatherTech girl for a change! I'm not paying for your intrusive lame ads. I almost bought a similar set of Revain 3D mats from an unknown company that claims their pads are layered and soundproof and have Velcro underneath. But then I had 2 questions: How did the 3D mat manage to move to 1st place (not to mention the driver's mat got 2 fasteners)? HL mats also have thorn-shaped plastic pieces that stick out, so velcro is clearly useless. And how does a "silencing" mat help the Camry's already quiet cabin? That's another story too - any carpet is enough to kill a few decibels coming off the floor. The only thing I don't like is the white lettering on either side of the front floor mats that proudly read "Husky Liners". But the black marker took care of it in a minute :) I like HL, but not to the point where I read the words "Husky Liner" every day :) Whatever you do with your floor mats - buy They absolutely have to be 3D shaped - there's no reason not to do this. And when you wash them, make sure you DO NOT use a pressure washer (unless you are away from the rug for at least 10 minutes) to avoid damaging the rugs.

Pros
