Review on 🎡 BoyuuRange A50 MKIII 300B HiFi Integrated Tube Amplifier - Single-End Class A Valve Amp with Tube Cage by Raquel Ramirez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Ideal for jazz and singing in small groups.

First, 300b bulbs don't feel tight in their sockets. Although they get along well. In 20 hours of operation they have lost much of their original height definition. Pretty nice depth and breadth of sound. Good detail and no noise. It's warmer, more forward-thrust, livelier and has more bass than my Boyuurrange Reisong A10 EL34 amp. I have speakers with a sensitivity of 90dB. Not particularly sensitive. In a small room 11x12m. First I listen to jazz. It will probably become even smoother with more break-in hours. If you have insensitive speakers, choose a large room and play hip-hop or rock. Maybe go in a different direction, IMO. I'm going to try some new old 6SN7 replacement bulbs that I ordered anyway. Probably won't replace Psvane 300b any time soon. Given that the new 300b reissue is worth the price of a pair of phones. One of the most expensive I know. So I am familiar with audiophile terms. What is sheerness in ranking? Edit: Maybe after 50 hours of use. Fitting a couple of new old stock Sylvania Chrome Dome 6SN7GTB bulbs was a big improvement. Added high frequencies and details. Bass is tighter. Sharpness and brilliance disappeared immediately. Now that's a really nice 3D amp. Big soundstage. The singing is just fantastic. Very happy with the sound. Renewal Date 03/01/21: Approximately 6 weeks after arriving and using NOS CBS/Hyton 6SN7GTB lamps. Pretty nice sounding for my jazz. The original sharpness is gone. Edit 5/26/21: Moved to a larger room. Switching on C2 speakers with an impedance of 87 dB ohms in a busy 400 square meter area. ft. Easily play 75dB at 12 feet with plenty of headroom. Very nice for jazz.
