I bought my friend's son another longboard for his birthday. After ordering it I thought "why not?!” so I started looking for it myself. As I scrolled through hundreds of boards, I saw "Samurai" and was instantly hooked because who doesn't love samurai? I looked at the pictures and started reading the reviews and everyone seemed to like it so I bought it. days and I didn't want to tell him about his gift). It's been about 30 years since I've been on the board. When I rode, Bones were the best bikes for cruising because they were big and soft. I figured if it rode at least as well as my old deck with these wheels, I'd be fine. Well, it drives better than anything I've ridden when I was younger. This thing is buttery soft! I tightened the trucks because I've always run them very tight and loosened them a little more than I would like. We drove about an hour until he said he was tired and wanted to go home. At this point we were a few miles apart and I wanted to keep going, so I took the long way home (which he complained about 😂). I had a great time in this case! I was fully expecting that eventually I would fall and bust my ass, but I didn't. It handles bumps, cracks in the road and even the small pebbles that usually stop a board in its path and send you flying. I didn't even feel the speed fluctuations I always experienced when flying downhill. This thing looks great, drives great and handles great. BUY IT!
