It's not exactly microfiber, or at least not what I would call true microfiber cleaning towels, but they are very soft and absorbent. I've used them to clean/polish my kitchen cabinets and they worked very well with very little lint (a small amount comes out but nothing that can't be wiped off quickly). I like them a lot and the price is great. The colors are very pleasing and I can easily tell which surface/product I'm using on which surface.
