Review on ☕ Convenient and Compatible: BELR Disposable Paper Coffee Filters Cups for K Series Pods Coffee Machine (100 Filters, White) by Jaclyn Laws

It's important to experiment with Fit

Our one-cup coffee maker uses a reusable filter. This way we can choose the coffee we want to use for each cup and not feel as bad as throwing a bunch of small plastic cups in the bin. Even when using compostable or eco-friendly capsules, it seems like a lot of waste compared to simply composting used soil. However, reusable filters sometimes let a little more mud through than others. Our favorite compostable k cup is a cardboard ring with a paper lid and paper filter around the coffee, and it actually only seems to release liquid, not much dust. So when I received a replacement set of reusable filters I saw that some were offering them so I decided to give them a try. They don't seem to affect the flavor of the coffee, but they do seem to reduce the amount of sludge at the bottom of the cup, so win there! Of course, when used, it takes up some space in the filter, so the coffee has a little less space, but it also has no noticeable effect on the taste or strength of the coffee. And while they seem a little more durable than the big paper filters in our Dripper, they don't seem to stop the coffee from seeping into the cup either. They make cleaning the filter easier because you can simply pull it out. and throw it in the compost. A little rinsing to loosen the coffee from the lid and you're ready for the next cup. If coffee separated from the filter is the goal of composting, it may not work as it will contain a wad of coffee as expected when you try to pour the coffee out. The paper will take longer to compost, but it seems like a pretty decent fabric that does just as well as any other fibrous filter. Assembly is the tricky part. The reusable cups we use already fit perfectly into our cup holder. If you put one of them there and the paper gets between the glass and the cover of the reusable filter, sometimes our manufacturer does not read that the head is closed. If you insert paper before closing, this problem will disappear. It takes up some space, so a little less coffee, but still not enough to make a difference (and maybe the coffee will last a little longer). I'm sure it depends on what reusable filter they're put in, but if they were maybe 2mm shorter they wouldn't risk sticking out of the garbage part of the filter and getting in the way of the lid. However, the impedance is not sufficient to avoid them. We don't use them for every cup. Sometimes some sludge is added to the coffee. And even with a filter there is sludge, but it is noticeably less. These paper filters meet our requirements, require special care and make cleaning the filter much easier.
