It''s not as thick as we would like, and it''s the softer foam that doesn''t float as well so this is best for small kids. As an adult I have used it and its ok but not as good as others we have. But I bought this for the hand slots so that they can adjust how they use the kickboard so it will set our purpose till the kids grow bigger.
