, I'm quitting nicotine now and I spent $20 on 100 toothpicks. Having used cinnamon toothpicks before, switching to churro seemed like a good choice. The packaging states that the toothpicks are soaked in spilantes and xylitol. I checked both so I know what I'm putting in my mouth. Xylitol is an alcohol sugar commonly used in zero-calorie candies and sodas. Spilantes is something else entirely. It comes from a tree commonly known as the Toothache Tree and I can see why. They numb the entire lip and tongue for about fifteen minutes, which is an interesting sensation. In summary, they are very tasty, a little sweet. They are quite hard and don't split easily and are great to chew on for a while. They definitely give you an interesting mouthfeel if your goal is to focus on something other than nicotine cravings.
