I've been using this appliance for a few months now and can't imagine cooking a steak without it. If you love a good steak, you should have it. I don't use the Bluetooth function because it's a complete gimmick (all cooking devices that offer it). I work in IT and I just want to push a button and get the perfect steak. Using Bluetooth seems to take a lot of hops according to other reviews. I've actually read reviews that updating the device forces you to use Bluetooth, so I avoided all of that. I just unpacked it, plugged it in and started cooking. Without Bluetooth, you can control the device directly, so don't worry. Without Bluetooth it does exactly what I need it to do. I will never go back to traditional steak cooking.
