NUMBER ONE: Do not use stainless steel for non-stick pans as it will scratch the non-stick coating! They work very well. Used them with cast iron. There are a few items I haven't used and probably never will (a wine corkscrew. I just don't drink wine, but the set was good enough that I don't mind not using an item or two!), but the rest were pretty good. The cheese grater is a bit more difficult to use if you just hold it. I think I would have preferred a stand, but it worked really well, it just took a little more work. The slotted spoon didn't let any noodles through except for the spaghetti. Great for serving. I wish there was a special pasta spoon included in the set. The pliers were easy to use with one hand. I was able to easily pull or tuck the open tab back in and it didn't get stuck. The pizza cutter did its job. The spatulas could turn the eggs without the eggs getting stuck. I've only had them about a week, but they're good tools at a good price (the same stuff is $8 each at Target). A good gift set for someone like a wedding or housewarming because it has everything you need except a pasta spoon!
