I bought two bulbs for a little over one from the local big stores
There is no city lamp on my street. My lantern, mounted high on the garage gable, illuminates our driveway and two houses, dimly and across the street. When the old bulb went out I bought two so that if the bulb burned out again I could quickly plug them back in. One of the neighbors remarked that it was good that the street was back lit and safe.
