Review on NaceCare Henry Multi-Purpose Residential and Light Commercial Solution by Bryan Kishore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

More than just a pretty face.

Three years ago I made the decision to hire Henry to help me clean my house. The vacuum I had at the time was the Shark Lift-Away, but after a few years some parts started breaking off and while it cleaned very well I wasn't entirely happy with it. I had heard of Henry before and that they were one of the most popular vacuum cleaners in the UK and I wanted to try at least one of them. One day when I was looking on Amazon for a new vacuum to replace my Shark, I found Henry and it was adapted to US 120 volt requirements. I thought it was a bit too expensive but I decided to give it a try anyway because if I don't like it I can always return it. Three years later, Henry still helps me keep my house clean with no problem. It is by far the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. It's very durable (once fell down a ladder and didn't even phase it), it has tremendous suction power which I'd say is about the same if not better than the Shop Vac. It's very quiet (I managed to vacuum while my grandmother was sleeping and didn't wake her). It has a huge HEPA material dust bag, every time I change the bag I find the dust barely seeps in through the bag and there are three extras in the box. I can go months without changing the pouch and even when it's packed full Henry still manages to suckle great. It has a very long and strong 33 foot cord. I can clean most of the house without unplugging it and it stores inside with a manual cord wrap. The jet set is fantastic, its hose is 8ft which is more than average. It comes with three durable stainless steel nozzles, a durable floor nozzle combo, an adapter to attach tools directly to the hose without using nozzles, a soft brush to remove dust, an upholstery nozzle with hard bristles that can be attached and removed, and a crevice tool. I also bought an extra Airo brush because I have a lot of carpet and it does a great job removing dirt and hair from the carpet. Best of all he has a very cute little face (you have the option to remove it but I really don't see why you would want that). All the cons of the Henry I have to say are that it's heavy, weighing 22 pounds, but that's just Henry himself and you don't really move the entire machine around much like an upright vacuum. His bag tends to take on a musty smell after a while, but I've found that putting a teaspoon or more of coffee in the bag and letting it sit overnight eliminates the odor. All in all, I just love Henry and wouldn't trade him for anything. If you're reading this and thinking about hiring Henry to help keep your house clean, give it a try, I'm sure you won't regret it.
