Wrong part for Yamaha G9
The diameter of the fuel inlet from the fuel tank was smaller than the diameter of the fuel hose. The hose cannot be clamped tight enough to prevent leakage. The correct fuel pump for the Yamaha G9 car has a larger diameter connection. The part descriptions do not mention this difference and the part photo only shows the part where both hose fittings look the same. To tell the difference, you will need to remove and inspect the fuel pump you are replacing.
