Used to replace the old one on my Yamaha G9. Fuel enters the pump through a 1/4" bore instead of the 5/16" bore of the original pump. Works great.

Decent pump for the price. As others have said, a 5/16 to 1/4 adapter is required to install the fuel line from the tank to the pump, but that's no big deal. So far, so good!

The hose nipple to the petrol tank should have been a little larger - the original pump had a larger nozzle diameter just for fuel in the connector - these are all the same Connections. However, everything works fine for me, just not very tight on this hose.

Good pump. Perfect fit for my 1989 G2. It worked great for 20 months and then just stopped. I don't know why, but for only $20, I believe the aftermarket fuel pump isn't that bad. I bought another pump from the same seller and again the delivery was very fast. Hope this pump lasts a little longer.

The diameter of the fuel inlet from the fuel tank was smaller than the diameter of the fuel hose. The hose cannot be clamped tight enough to prevent leakage. The correct fuel pump for the Yamaha G9 car has a larger diameter connection. The part descriptions do not mention this difference and the part photo only shows the part where both hose fittings look the same. To tell the difference, you will need to remove and inspect the fuel pump you are replacing.
