The first starter they sent started the engine but got stuck on the sprocket after starting, changing the starter did the same. I have found that the starter sprocket protrudes 6mm deeper into the housing allowing the splines to engage easily without getting agitated. The oil port was also misaligned - when installed on the engine, it was facing down. The starter appearance was good, but it appears to have been assembled with the wrong starter drive. I returned #2 for a refund and rebuilt my original Delco (including new fixtures) at a local shop for $4 less. I called the DB sales team but they didn't seem to care about the issue.
