This product works as advertised. Here is my experience. My wife's 2012 BMW X5 had the original Continental wheels on the front. She hit a curb and got an apartment. I managed to break 3 nuts out of 5, the last 2 didn't budge. I used a breaker. PB Blaster Penetrating Oil. My neighbor who is a mechanic tried a clip on torque wrench and the 17mm head broke. After struggling to get them off, I ended up towing the car to the CarMax where we originally bought it and I told them that whoever put these cleats on had twisted them and they couldn't be removed. They tried to take it down and eventually surrounded her. I was looking at Revain and found this. I myself was a bit skeptical about the CarMax parking lot, because after 10 days I, my neighbors and the CarMax service could not remove these two tips. I placed a 17mm Shankly head on the grommet, attached a 1/2 breaker, and began using my body weight to press the breaker bar. The nest moved a little, then I felt it "bite". I pushed and pushed and heard a loud snap as the tab came loose. I removed that one and had the same experience with the last problematic edge. I highly recommend them, they totally work!
