When I first tried these shoes on I thought they would run small. I tried 42.5 and they first damaged my little finger on the outside. My big toe was a perfect fit, as was my heel. My feet are moderately wide so fit was important. I tried 43 and immediately realized there was too much room in the toe and heel. I returned to 42.5. When the shoes were warm, I tried them on this time. They fit like a glove. These are my first pair of mid-range sneakers but they are amazing! You need a little time to warm up your legs. Now that I've been climbing in it for a few weeks, they are spreading very well. No pain in my outer toes from rubbing. My toe fits in perfectly and they are very secure on my foot. With them I can trust my toes on small holds. They require a bit more attention when smudging, but that's to be expected with a more aggressive edge.
