After a year my last Pur filter for tap water leaked and became unusable. I'm very careful with the water filter so this was quite unexpected. Part of the faucet would actually spray unfiltered water in the path of the filtered water! So I bought this new Pur Filter System. First, while it has that nifty Bluetooth system that tells you when to change the filter, it looks the same as the previous system that costs half the price. Another thing is that when I turn off the filtered water lever, water keeps flowing out of the filter nozzle, so that's water consumption. It takes some time to stop, even the old system didn't. I'll know more when I change the filter to see if this continues. If not, this could be my last Pur filter. The only thing that caught my eye is that Pur's clever marketers make this model look like it's metal, but it's cheap plastic. It looks so cheap that I'm afraid it will break. Otherwise it works as advertised. But I'm not sure if I'll buy another one. I'm just saying.
