I recently bought 2 of these and until today everything seemed to be found. After 400 shots he destroyed half of them. I tried to see them in my camera but many said "cannot be displayed". I could still see the others but after a while they all got confused like it was spreading and spreading. I tried to format the CF in the camera but the camera couldn't format it. Luckily I was able to format it on my computer. When I tried to upload photos on the computer, the hourglass just went in circles; then it would block the computer. Even the task manager couldn't stop it. I'm glad it happened now and not when the content was irreplaceable. It happened out of the blue - totally unexpected; Therefore, due to their unreliability and tendency to ambush photographers, I advise against anyone and everyone buying or using these cards for photo shoots, weddings, etc. If the session is important, use the best brand. I will stay with SanDisk in the future and stay away from Komputerbay FOREVER. I couldn't get a refund because the time ran out so they sent me a replacement instead; They may have unreliable compact flash cards but they have very fast and efficient customer service. However, this is a very risky endeavor. Update: 06/23/2014 A few weeks ago I received a replacement for two original defective cards. Today the 1st of 2 inexplicably went bad. He had and still has 1.59GB of photos on a compact flash, but they are invisible to the eye or the computer. When I try to format it uses 1.59GB but it is not visible. You just can't win with these compact flashes. They are completely unpredictable and unreliable.
