**UPDATE** The USB connector I was using this adapter with failed and now I'm thinking it may be the culprit, not this adapter. I swapped out my outlet for another and this adapter seems to be working fine. First review: I use it to plug into a USB outlet behind my bedside table, but the connection isn't reliable. I have to wiggle this connector to get a good connection and then place the furniture carefully, trying not to move the attached cord too much. Such a simple device with no moving internal parts should be extremely reliable, but it isn't.
