This thermometer comes with 6 stainless steel probes. Other BT meat thermometers I've had in the past had aluminum alloy probes that only lasted a month. I'm a big fan of stainless steel as it is stronger and less reactive than aluminum probes. The app (HyperBBQ) is easy to download and connected to my phone instantly. Another feature I like is that the screen shows the readings of multiple temperature sensors at once - you don't have to switch between them to find a specific temperature. The app will notify you when your meat is 10 degrees before cooking time and the sensor number will flash on the device as a warning. The only thing I would wish for would be some sort of storage box. The original packaging is fine for this, but a proper case is ideal for storage. But overall a great product!
