Review on πŸ“ Bolt Thread Checker Inch Metric: The Ultimate Tool for Accurate Thread Measurement by Radney Taala

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good tool, but not exactly useful, permanently attached to the cable.

Here is the result. If you *just* need to sort out a bunch of loose screws/bolts and nuts, these gauges will come in very handy as long as they stay on the cable. Screws, bolts, nuts, or internally threaded holes that are in a fixed location, these calibration parts are almost useless. That's because you can't twist/turn/turn them *on* a screw/bolt or *in* an internally threaded hole once they're attached to the cable. For example, I was recently trying to determine the size/caliber of a threaded female hole (ie threaded hole) found on a computer motherboard. I isolated and held a caliper that was about the right size, after lowering it into the motherboard hole I couldn't get the male screw/bolt caliper into the hole. The cable prevents this. I'm going to cut the cable and keep all these parts in a flat plastic box. which has about 15 or 20 small "organizer compartments". I'll probably put two pieces in each compartment so I can easily find an approximate size/piece to use. I can then just remove one and use it however I want. without the damn cable. When I go into OCD mode I make printed labels to mark each tool box compartment as well as each instrument part as they are a little hard to read especially the chrome parts.
