I've had a few problems. When I first got the pot, I had a hard time figuring out how to make sure it didn't leak everywhere. When I found that the gasket just had to sit perfectly on the rim and the top half had to be tightened to the bottom (hard), I was able to fix that particular problem. I also bought a white one not knowing how badly it will stain if it leaks. I haven't figured out how to remove all stains yet. Another problem is that the pan does not heat up quickly in any way. I don't know if it's because I have a glass stove top or a pot issue, but I have to microwave the water for 2 minutes before pouring it into the pot, or it takes anywhere from 5 minutes. up to 10 minutes to cheer you up. My sister-in-law came up and got confused as she started making coffee for us in it. She said it heats up almost instantly (another brand), never leaks (it doesn't tighten), and she's had none of those issues. So if you're in a hurry, have a glass-topped stove and can't wait, you can grab a cup of joe at your local coffee shop.
