Ease of installation depends on how your previous faucet is positioned or whether you're making new jokes on your bathroom countertop. I was replacing an existing leaking, widespread rusty faucet and the specified removal was difficult for me. Overall, however, the guide is relatively simple and straightforward in the sense that you don't need any tools other than a couple of wrenches, which are very cheap. After removing the old faucet, most of it could be tightened by hand. The first thing I noticed after installing it is that the handle to turn the water has almost no resistance and is very smooth. This is the best joystick I've ever felt and deserves kudos here. It also looks very slick and has been quite resistant to stains so far. I had another Moen fixed handle double handle faucet and it had a terrible feeling when I turned on the faucet. I think the cartridges need lubrication, or maybe I had a bad batch.
