Review on 🚲 SILCA TATTICO Mini Pump with Integrated Hose & Chuck for Presta/Schrader Valves, Including Water Bottle Cage Mount by Curtis Kincade

Received the pump about a week ago. The design, build quality and materials are top notch - the pump is almost entirely made of aluminium. It is more durable and heavier than comparable Lezyne pumps. Inflating the tire to 100psi is no problem. Double-walled handles that protect your hands from the heat generated by all mini pumps. The hose system is elegant and functional: the hose can be pulled out without having to screw it anywhere and the chuck is simple, convenient, fast and functional. It engages without threading it over the Schrader or Presta valve so it doesn't lose air when released. Silca Impero's highly acclaimed frame pumps seem like an anachronism to me - almost a kind of historical reenactment. Tattico is not an overrated object of worship. The design work that has gone into this pump has resulted in not only a well built unit that will likely last for years, but also a pump that is more efficient to use than any comparable mini pump. I like it more than any other Silca product. Update 08/30/2017: I have been using this pump for several months both on the go and at home. The pump works exceptionally well - it pumps as well as the best full size frame pumps. It is very durable and can be expected for many years.
