Review on 🔧 ACDelco GM OEM 12608580 Timing Chain Tensioner Kit + Seal by Terry Reed

This spanner works right out of the box. There are no instructions in the box, but it does need to be torqued to 55 ft-lbs to install. Also note that this tensioner MUST BE ACTIVATED. By activated I mean make sure it's installed and tight, then put pressure on the chain/guide in front of the tensioner. It needs to be pushed in about 1/8 inch before the spring releases and tensions the chain. To do this you need to remove the valve cover.
