As with the three bears, it's either "too hot or too cold ".
Although the clamps appear strong and clamp securely when fitted to the correct size pipe, finding the right pipe clamp is not as easy as one might think. In the application I bought the clamps for, there wasn't a single clamp in the package that matched the diameter of the pipe (about 1/4 inch or 6.3mm). The collars were either too small or too big.
