I have had a variety of head straps, from Halo straps, Elite straps, Deluxe Audio straps and other cheap aftermarket head straps sold here. Money, this headband is way better than almost all of them, only one other headband that gives it some competition in looks, comfort, practicality and durability is the Htc Deluxe Audioband, but even this headset has finally succumbed to almost two years of use (a few plastic teeth in the rotating gear mechanism broke) For the price you get a head harness that is half the price of an elite belt and more durable than one, and also far outperforms any other aftermarket head harness you'll find here, though it's about durability. When you first pick up this head strap you can feel its weight and it feels well made, with the weight on the back acting as a nice counterweight to balance the headset. I've also found that this headband is compatible with a rear-mounted VR Power battery. A few other positives about the headset are that the side arms are one-piece and not multi-piece like you'll find with other headbands. for sale here and the top strap is this soft touch silicone material which in my opinion is much better than velcro. Finally, the turning knob doesn't squeak and sounds very good when tightening and passing through clicks, and the headband doesn't loosen over time when playing games like Beat saber or Thrill of the Fight. Overall, I highly recommend this headband. and also have to say i am shocked that it is not more expensive as it is so much better quality than other cheap headwear here. Finally, if you find that the back wrapping around your head is even a little uncomfortable, order the Elite VR Strap Cushion with a slight cushion modification to match this headband for even more comfort.
