Filters fit DC14 Animal
Both the yellow and purple filters fit my old DC-14 Animal Dyson vacuum. Based on previous reviews I wasn't sure if a purple HEPA filter would work. It was the perfect match. The filters were easy to install. It's amazing how dirty the original HEPA filter has gotten. Although the sticker on the side of the vacuum says it's a lifetime filter, you can open the outer casing (not easily) and replacements are available (both Dyson and non-Dyson). This is a replacement part.
