Purchase: Queen/Burgundy Love the sheet! Everyone seems to be looking for something specific in the sheets so I'm going through what I'm looking for and how they absolutely exceeded my expectations. I will also add my first bed sheet review at the end and explain what I did to get great results from these amazing sheets. The sheets are 100% cotton and 800 thread count. I bought a Queen/Burgundy for $74. I don't like 100% cotton sheets because I get too hot when I sleep. Cotton allows the fabric to breathe so you don't sweat. Leaves are heavy! I like it! My bottom sheet always wears out first, so I like heavier sheets. I don't like thin sheets because I don't wash the mattress pad every time. I also like the heavier top layer as it is warm enough to shelter under the air conditioner in the summer and forms a thermal barrier with the duvet in the winter. I also like a thick pillowcase because I drool at night and put on face cream and sometimes get hairspray on my hair. I don't want to wash my pillowcases every time I wash my sheets. I love a clean bed so let's buy sheets. =) Wrinkles Yes, they wrinkle a little. Best advice is to take them out of the dryer right away and either put them back on the bed or fold them neatly. They are 100% cotton and cotton will do. FitThis is hard to judge as not every queen size bed is the same size/fullness. I have a deep mattress and it fits my bed perfectly. Very tight and no extra sheets wrinkle over the bed. The top sheet feels wider and longer than most sheets I like. Fits perfectly. Colours. I like the color! I bought the color burgundy and it's close enough to dark red that it works, although it's definitely burgundy. It's a deep rich color and hasn't lost its rich color in the eight washes they've had so far. These sheets are so soft! Admittedly, when I first took these sheets out of the box and unwrapped them, they were very stiff due to the starch. as well as ALL fabric products purchased. They were even a little prickly; it bothered me. However, having read many reviews here and elsewhere, I knew I had to take a few steps to get real results from the leaves. I'm talking about those fabulous sheets! =) DIRECTIONS AND FIRST RESPONSE After reading all the reviews here I decided that as soon as I received it I would wash it, dry it, put it on the bed and sleep on it. The first two nights I found them too warm. After the first two days I washed them again, dried them and put them back on. They were a little softer and a little less warm in my opinion, but I still wasn't convinced. After two days I took them off, washed them, dried them and put them back on. Now I have decided that they are not too warm and much softer! The key was to remove the starch and get closer to real cotton. I've washed them eight times already and the results are there. I'll buy another set! I actually ordered a set for my daughter. I'll let you know how it goes. Disappointed. I'm just disappointed that there are no more color options and maybe imprints. My daughter would like something more stylish and I would like a red, deep red Americano. However, the colors offered are also very good. I note that the color shown may not reflect the exact color. They were all green in hue regardless of what device they were viewed on. Fabulous. Keep this in mind when purchasing X3 wash/dry/sleep bedding. Enjoy! I hope you love them as much as I do!
