Review on 🔒 Standard Plastic Latch for Igloo Cooler by Sean Sheppard

Like many other reviewers, I caught the original latch in the lid when something heavy on top broke off immediately. This inexpensive replacement bar is exactly what the cooler started with. It's neither better nor worse. After replacing a broken latch, my cooler is as good as new - read about what you want. On a positive note I filled it with a block of ice for a long ride last September and ended up not needing the cooler. Ice. Three weeks later, several blocks were still partially frozen, even though the fridge was in the back of my truck here in New Mexico. The original latch may be cheap, but the cooler does the trick.
