Use the lock nut provided and you won't have the center unscrewing problem described above. The nuts need to be rethreaded. 3/4-16 threads were slightly smaller in diameter to fit. Also buy these derale adapters if you need 3/8" or 10mm hose. Derale 98201-8AN Female x 3/8" AN Swivel Hose Barb Female thread equals -8AN with 3/4-16 thread.
