This should be a staple in every household with children. My kids are active and outdoors which means lots of little scratches and cuts. I spent a fortune on bandages before finding these waterproof ones. When properly donned, they will stay in place for the duration of your hike, including plenty of bath time! I have tried several other waterproof brands but none have worked as well as this one. Be careful when removing them from the packaging - if the clear sticky part curls up on its own, the bandage will come loose. In addition, the skin to which it is applied must be very clean and dry and free of oils. I always wash the wound with soap and water and dry it COMPLETELY. Then I wipe the skin with an alcohol pad where the sticky part will be to make sure all the sebum is removed. Once dry, apply a bandage and fully press all edges and it should last for several days. If you use an antiseptic cream, use a small amount - if it gets on a sticky substance, the bandage will come off. When worn properly, it will stand up to sweat, pools, oceans and kids. I've used all sizes and they all work well.
