Review on Elements Portable External Drive WDBUZG0010BBK WESN by Don Leblanc

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No more uninstall, install, uninstall. (PS4)

I bought this disc to increase the capacity of my PlayStation 4. I have a 500GB model and while that seems like a lot of storage, it really won't get you very far. These are multiple games and other miscellaneous content. It got to the point where I had to delete my favorite games in order to play something new. It's not something I want to keep doing. It literally took 5 seconds to format this drive as external storage and around 20 minutes to transfer most of my PS4 games from storage to this drive. I transferred about 300 GB. Now I have a lot of free memory. The PS4 will automatically use the disc as storage unless you go back to using the PS4 disc. You can switch between drives at any time. So far this drive is working great. To be honest I don't see any difference between the games stored on this drive and the games you play on the PS4's internal drive. This is exactly what I was hoping for. The disc is very small. I didn't notice much noise when using the drive, just a slight buzz and that was about 2 inches away with my ear. I only have one very minor issue with the drive: an annoying blue light that keeps blinking when the drive is in use. This annoyance was easily fixed by turning it to face the wall. Just note that turning it towards you in a dark room will make you very aware of the presence of the discs. I'm so glad I bought this CD. It set me free! Now I can play all the games I want without having to constantly uninstall and reinstall my favorite games.
