Review on 🌡️ Honeywell RTH221B1039 Programmable Thermostat by Jonathan Abreu

I'm a DIY enthusiast and needed a thermostat to automatically turn on the cooling fans for my chicks when it gets hot. For that it worked great. It is simple and therefore easy to program and set up. There is a secret menu to change from F to C and from 12 hours to 24 hours, among other things, so don't throw away the manual or it will be almost impossible to change these things. There are four time windows that count for working professionals: advancement; leaving; come back and sleep I used a motorized US solid valve (2-wire auto-return) with a small 12v battery and solar charger for power. The thermostat takes two AAA batteries, which I replaced with a 3.3 voltage regulator so I never have to change batteries. Please note that the heating and cooling range is 50F to 99F. (I don't know what the range for C is, it could be more, I don't know.) There is a HEAT-OFF-COOL switch, but you can't turn it off for a period of time. like someone posted. In my case I'm dealing with tempos in the 100+ range, so 99 is clearly not off. But if it's greater than 99, I clearly want the gentlemen to be there.
