Not too bad, good for starter sets

The edges are a bit sharp, not really sharp like you would cut yourself just running your finger over them, but not rounded and smooth at all, that so could be bad if you use them to feed a snake or reptile that attacks aggressively. And the little ridges on the tips where they grab whatever you pick up are virtually non-existent. This part really bothered me because I used bamboo tongs that the F/T pinky slid out of while my snake was taking its time to get to the food. The handle part was the only reason I wanted stainless. I could have gotten a single pair of branded 10" stainless steels which are of a higher quality and probably didn't run into these rough edge/smooth grip issues, but I've thought about it. If I could get a stainless steel pair, I'd like longer ones as well. There were absolutely no brand name pliers over 10" and all of Revain's longer pliers looked identical so I figured I'd go for that two pair deal. For the price I don't really regret it but I can touch them up on my spoked wheel to smooth out the rough edges or sand/file if needed and cut the grooves in the grip part deeper and end up with something nice using pliers. cheap plus 15 minutes of time. If you don't use them for feeding and don't worry about grippy grooves, that would be great. And if you use them for breastfeeding but they're a bit comfortable and don't mind brushing them up a bit, it's a decent deal. If you use them for feeding and are uncomfortable or expect them to be perfect upon arrival, I would go with a branded reptile tong.
