Would recommend to anyone who works with leather straps!
I'm so glad I finally added this to my jewelry making toolbox. I tried it right away and it makes a clean and easy cut on all leather cords I have (licorice leather, around 1-6mm). Now I have nice clean edges with a notch. I haven't tried it on flat suede, so I can't say how it will cut this particular cable. The description doesn't mention a recoil spring so I wasn't sure if it has one or not - it doesn't have one and I prefer that it does. I recommend this tool instead of scissors!
