I was looking for a stand for my small dog's food, partially for his sake -- so the bowl would stay put when he eats -- and partially for mine -- to make his feeding area easier to clean. This sturdy little stand fits the bill! It was really easy to assemble (though I did need two screwdrivers for assembly -- one to hold the casing in place and the other to turn the screw), and I am impressed with how solid it feels. I also like the look and "renewability" of bamboo, so those are plusses for me, as well. The bowls are a little bigger and deeper than I thought they would be, but my dog doesn't seem to mind. And now his bowls stay put! I'm happy with this purchase.
