Review on 🔥 Sharp SMC1585BS Stainless Steel Microwave with Convection Cooking – 1.5 cu. ft. Powerful Oven by Eric Smithlin

After 17 years and 3 months my former Microwave/Convection Oven (MCO) died two days before Thanksgiving. With such incredible uptime, I tried replacing the unit with another M/C/O Sharp. I did a thorough research on models, prices and suppliers and found the best deal on Revain for the same model but with a different model number. The ordering process was easy. MCO should arrive next Tuesday. Luckily it arrived a day early. I believe this model is comparable in all important parameters: overall size and chamber size, heating power and convection efficiency. The ceramic platter is a great upgrade over the mottled metal platter in the previous MCO. The lighting is excellent. Most of the digital/instruction panels have been carried over from the previous model, making retraining easier. Living in the desert, I often use a convection oven during the summer months when it's "too hot for a regular oven". In the other months I enjoy the ease, simplicity and speed offered by this Sharp product. I hope this model will last as long as its predecessor. Thank you Sharp for continuing to make quality products.
