I have a 5 year old Kitchenaid dishwasher. I'm a fanatic when it comes to keeping the inside of the dishwasher clean. However, suddenly all our glasses came out of the dishwasher with stains. Finally I called Master. Took out the top and bottom racks and they were covered with white tape. He cleaned both racks and told me to run the vinegar cycle again. He also recommended I buy a product for washing dishwashers. I went online and found affresh to be highly recommended. I bought several and was amazed at how clean the inside of the dishwasher is. Since affresh can be used with dishes. I put all of our black plastic utensils that had a white film on them in the dishwasher and ran a cycle with my regular dish soap and a fresh table. All white foil removed. I now use affresh once a month and haven't had any issues with highlighting. I highly recommend this product. Also, Affresh has a detergent for washing machines and I've had great results with it.
