Review on 🍞 BLACK+DECKER TR2200WSD Toaster: 2 Slice, Extra Wide Slots, Medium, White - Top-Notch Toasting! by Kimberly Williams

I received it today and decided to try it right away. I ran it on low 1 first without burning anything in it that could smell. Yes, it smelled slightly, but that was all there was. Then I toasted a slice of multigrain bread. There was no indication to only use a specific side for a slice, so I just pasted it in, set it to 2 and let go. The toast turned out nice, one side was a little fried than the other, but that wasn't a problem for me. Some have asked if the toaster is a "cool touch." During toasting, the sides of the toaster are cold while the top, where the stainless steel and slots are located, is hot. Can't be a surprise so don't touch the slots. I am very happy with this toaster and very happy that the price was so low. Come on Black and Decker --- Ha, I think I just toasted on the toaster. UPDATE: Okay, it's been a month now and I'm having trouble with the toaster. You can see I started with a setting of 2. A few days later it was 3.5; It's been a week and I'm on level 5 and I STILL have to turn it back on and stare at it for a few minutes to get a nice golden toast. Settings go up to 7, but I shouldn't even be down to 5 at this point. Something just isn't right. I am so disappointed. I changed my rating from 5 to 3.2. UPDATE: It's been a while and setting 5 seems to help and I don't have to push it back anymore so I won't be looking for another toaster. Star rating changed to 4. Unless this toaster dies soon, this will be the final update.
