Review on Zefal Spy Bicycle Mirror Black: Enhance Your Cycling Experience with Stylish Convenience by Randy Salgado

Revainrating 4 out of 5

very good but no better

I use a Zefal Spy mirror on my Cruzbike S40 recumbent which is hood mounted for a nice aero setup. Inexpensive, easy to install and align. Holds up on bumpy roads. I actually thought it was the best thing since sliced bread until another crouched rider pointed me at the Star Cycle mirror (Bush and Muller). In comparison, Zefal's mirror is slightly distorted, so it doesn't give a clear picture of what's behind you. I usually don't care which car is coming as long as I know there's a car behind me. And with other riders, I know who is wearing the red uniform, blue uniform, etc., so I distort the image a bit, that's not a problem. But I have to say after trying the B&M Star Cycle mirror it's much better. The mirror is larger and completely flat. The perfect picture. It behaves confidently on uneven roads. It can be mounted both on an extension cord and compactly and firmly on an assembly line. Now I ride Star Cycle on both hoods. Brilliant product.

Cons
