Power mode should turn off the hard drive after 20 minutes. But the disk does not turn off when idle. Also, every 5 seconds, it clicks its head in idle. Due to poorcomoling (it was planned that the disk would work 40-80 minutes a day). The disk has a temperature of 48. What I tried. hdparm -s 1 -S 4 /dev/sdb waited 10 minutes, no result. hdparm -Y /dev/sdb The drive has stopped. But how to make it stop on its own when idle? The previous drive ST2022DM001 fell asleep without any dancing with hdparm. And it wascomlder and quieter. PS The problem in not falling asleep the disk was the case in the Thermaltake Smart DPS G power supply)). His crooked software jerked the disk every 100 ms. Since I installed it at the same time, it took months to understand that it was not the disk that was to blame, but the power supply software. Review of the power supply can be read here
