If you love Mexican food, you've probably learned that tortillas taste best when cooked right before eating. However, rolling out handmade tortillas can be quite tricky. With this device, everything is much easier! Simply place a ball of your dough (there's a link to an e-book with tortilla recipes and LOTS of things you can make with them) on a piece of the included parchment in the center of the bottom circular plate, then cover with more parchment and PUSH onto the disc. The result is usually a perfectly round, evenly flat cake that can be quickly prepared in a nearby pan. Since you're using non-stick parchment (or plastic wrap in a pinch), the press itself rarely needs cleaning, or just a quick wipe down with a damp cloth. It is easy to protect it from rust if you wipe it with vegetable oil every month.
