EDITED: Oh my god these pans are awesome. I tried to make mini apple pies from scratch. See fig. I need more practice to get the right juice and crust. This was my first attempt at making this mini cake. But my son and husband loved them, and my son made me promise not to change anything because he thought "personal cakes" were perfect. What other reviewers didn't specify is that you need to leave the bottom crust about 1/2 inch above the rim of the pan, add the filling, place the top INSIDE the bottom, and then roll up the bottom crust from the top to help seal . that. or make the trellis that is in the photo and she used canned pie filling. Mine was from scratch and evaluating juice. Well, my opinion was wrong. Before I could deal with the tops and pies in the pan, the juice was already spreading throughout the room. I had to lift the pan to the sink to drain the liquid before putting it in the oven. It was ALL my husband's fault and I told him. He got me to add more sugar to the apples. I told him they were cute enough. He still insisted on more sugar. I told him the more sugar, the more juice. I'll do it again when he's not home. He is retired and takes care of my business. Oh God. And the cakes, chilled for about 1 1/2 hours, came out of that pan completely unscathed. There was a mess on top of the pot. But it was cleaned with soap and hot water with minimal effort. Many thanks to AMAZON for these wonderful pans from the USA. I received mine very quickly, from the date of ordering. They arrived yesterday and today I made a batch of beautiful King Arthur flour burger buns. They almost jumped out of the pans. I hardly pushed her. No spray, no oil, no oil in the pan and nothing in the pan. Not even a tiny one. (2) The mini cake pans I bought can be used for mini cakes, hamburger buns and according to another review mini cakes and pot pies. So this particular pan has many uses. I got them based on mini cupcakes and hamburger buns. I had already made cupcakes with liners in my old pans the day I bought them. I spent at least 30 minutes scraping the rims of 24 cupcakes out of old pans I've been using for over 20 years. These pans are out of the bin. I also have silicone muffin cases and yes, sometimes they stick. And it sticks terribly, and that's from spraying oil or coating my pan with flour. I also bought 2 cupcake pans from the US. These American pots seem fantastic so far. I will update if I run into any issues and yes they are more expensive than the grocery store. They are heavy and hold heat very well, which improves baked goods. You may need to add time or subtract temperature. I ended up baking my hamburger buns at 360 degrees instead of the 375 degrees in the recipe. Baked 18 minutes. Perfectly light brown above and below. Note that the instructions say DO NOT USE SPRAY OIL. If you want to use PanCoating with flour that's fine, it follows the instructions.
