I bought this to use on my 1999 EX250 aka Kawasaki Ninja 250. Wanted to spice up the cheap look and it worked. The connection is a little PITA if your bike doesn't use standard connectors. I put quick connectors on each cable to attach it to my bike. The instructions/instructions provided are in broken English, but you can work out what goes where. When the display is on and set to trip, you can press and hold the left button for about 5 seconds. "000" appears and you need to set it to "750" then press and hold the left button again (I had to dig around the web to get it). You are now in the settings menu. Instead of calculating with the tire diameter and the number of magnets, I simply used the GPS speedometer on my phone to calibrate. "163" was the default for me. If you drive faster than indicated, the number is too low. If you drive slower than indicated, the number is too high. The other setting is related to RPM, so it's displayed in the right amount and is easy to understand. I was concerned that I would have a constant flashing low fuel light as I don't have a fuel gauge on the bike (never found the appropriate wire on the unit). There's a setting to change it to always full (or at least I think it does), so that works for me. The device has three (3) threaded posts for mounting. They are M6x1. The speed sensor is superfluous on the M12x1. The seller answered my questions very quickly, but again, everything gets a little lost in translation. Overall happy with my purchase.
