Review on πŸƒ Bamboo Tea Storage Box with 10 Evenly Divided Compartments by Tanya Shaw

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good container but not very strong

First of all I would like to say that this box is exactly what I expected. That being said, it would be unfair to give it 5 stars, but it deserves at least 4 because it is exactly what it says it is. While this is not exceptional craftsmanship, it is a very practical tea storage box indeed. I personally didn't buy it to store tea but made homemade bags of seeds to store outside of the growing season. The box is light, which has to do with the material it's made of: it's either very light wood (like balsa) or something like the bamboo composite that disposable chopsticks are made from. That gives it a pretty cheap look, but then again, it's just a cheap box. The lid is transparent and allows you to see the contents without opening it, but it doesn't fit perfectly so it tends to slide inside the lid a bit. It reinforces the feeling of cheapness. I wouldn't expect this box to survive more than a drop or two from a significant height, especially when loaded with anything other than a few teabags. In short, yes it will stand up to your tea bags and look a little classy, but it won't hold off moisture or stand up to rough handling.
