No longer works, but I fixed it

This is a good lamp, very bright but I've had issues with the durability. I keep it in the bathroom and it suddenly faded to about 90% after about 8 months or so. I noticed that it periodically brightened as I screwed it in. So I cleaned the threads with a wire brush and everything seems to be working fine now. The sconce it is in is open in the bathroom so moisture could have affected contact.
