Review on ๐Ÿšด Schwinn Echo and Trailblazer Child Bike Trailer: Single & Double Baby Carrier, Canopy, 16-20" Wheels by Paul Andrews

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not sure what else you would like in your trailer (besides shock absorbers and cup holders)

I've shopped everywhere, read articles, read reviews and even browsed CraigsList. I ended up buying this Schwan Echo Double Bike Trailer. I have a double bed (although I only needed a single) because the wider trailer feels sturdier and roomier. Because of the price, I was worried that I would be disappointed, but I wasn't. I can't say I have many bike trailers, but here's why this one was perfect for me: 1) My little guy is 3 years old, about 38 inches tall and about 30 pounds. this pendant and I can probably get it in a few years before it outgrows it. 2) It was easy to assemble and looks very nice. 3) It has spoked wheels and rubber tires = smooth ride. 4) Once installed, it's easy to attach and detach the bike (takes 3 seconds). I'm a weekend rider and didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a trailer that I could only use 50 times in my life. I am very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend buying this one. It doesn't have any suspension, so it's primarily intended for street use (not a big deal since most people don't go off-road with a baby in tow). When I bought it, there were almost no reviews. on it, so I was a little nervous. So I feel compelled to write this review for other people. This is a great trailer, especially for the price. No regret. I don't know why it isn't more popular but I suspect it will be. Hopefully they don't increase the price for those who don't already have it ;). The only minor downside that seems to be mentioned in the reviews of almost all bike trailers is that the child's head is pushed a little forward with the helmet on. on the. The mesh at the back is tight, so if the helmet sticks out at the back your head will jump forward a bit. It's not scary or anything, but I ended up with a slimmer helmet that didn't have a big rear end. Now everything is in order. You could probably also put a pillow behind the baby's back to compensate for this a bit, allowing his head to recline a bit.

Pros
  • Child Carrier Trailer
Cons
  • The list will go on.
