Not at all what I expected.Terrible!
I compare with the whale Sony 18-55. He stood for 4 years on the Sony A100 (paired with a successful copy of the Sigma 70-300 APO). So, the kit from Sonya is a level higher in image quality than this kit from Nikon. If you have already shot with a DSLR, do not take this lens. Suitable for beginners: large range of focal lengths, low price. SC issued a verdict "everything is as it should be", although, subjectively, the quality has improved slightly.

- Zoom 5.5x Focusing by moving the inner lens group Fast, fairly confident focusing
Cons
- Soap, especially around the edges and at focal lengths of 18 mm and 70-105 mm. A small luminosity. Noticeable, albeit slight, vignetting.
