Well the glue in that bag was basically hot glue sticks. If I had known, I would have just bought a custom repair guide as I have loads of glue sticks at home. I would also recommend micro tips for salmon/trout rods and smaller. The normal size seems to be for fiberglass rods or larger, heavier casting rods. In general, if you're fixing multiple poles of different sizes and have a hot glue gun at home, then sure. Go and get this kit. Otherwise, just buy their custom replacement rails and head into town.
